Expertise and Experience
Lorin has over 25 years of finance and accounting
experience, having served as both a CFO and Senior Controller for a
wide range of nonprofit and for‑profit organizations. For the past nine
years, her work has been dedicated to supporting nonprofits through
strategic financial leadership, organizational planning, effective team
development, and expanding access to fractional accounting and finance
support—ensuring organizations have the right level of expertise to meet
their goals efficiently and sustainably.
Lorin is recognized for her ability to quickly assess
accounting teams, systems, and processes—translating complexity into clear,
actionable insight for executive leadership and boards. Her hands‑on, pragmatic
approach makes her a trusted resource during periods of growth, transition, and
increased financial responsibility.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business
Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from San Diego State
University and has spent her career collaborating closely with leadership teams
to design customized finance and accounting solutions that strengthen
operations and support long‑term success.
