At the heart of Lorin’s professional journey lies a passion for empowering nonprofit organizations with strategic financial guidance and managerial finance expertise. With over a decade at The Grauer School and a significant tenure at PBO Advisory Group, her approach is deeply rooted in understanding and aligning with each nonprofit’s unique mission.

Expertise and Experience

Lorin has over 25 years of finance and accounting experience, serving as both a CFO and Senior Controller for many nonprofit and for-profit clients. For the past seven years her focus has centered on assisting nonprofits with strategic guidance and successful team building. Lorin has the unique ability to quickly assess accounting staff, systems, and processes providing a valuable resource for leadership and boards. Lorin graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with an emphasis in accounting.

Collaborating closely with teams, Lorin honed a strategic mindset that thrives on customizing solutions in finance and accounting to elevate organizational success. The most recent focus was as a Business Development Executive targeted on expanding support in the fractional accounting space, ensuring nonprofits have the tailored expertise needed to achieve their goals.
